From Leicester - Grand Union Leicester Line
Head towards Norton Junction, through the Watford Staircase Locks and turn left on to the Grand Union Main Line at Norton Junction.  We are 100 yards from the junction on the right at Buckby Top Lock.  If you're mooring up in the Buckby Flight overnight, then visit us at the New Inn.  Take some beer and perhaps a home cooked curry back to the boat with you.  Curry and rice is available for takeaway nightly after 9 p.m.

From Northampton - Grand Union
Turn right after Gayton Marina, past Weedon and head for Norton Junction.  We are located right on Buckby Top Lock 100 yards before Norton Junction.  If you can't make it past the top lock before dark and you are in the Buckby flight then just moor up and walk to the New Inn.  Take some beer and perhaps a home cooked curry back to the boat with you.  Curry and rice is available for takeaway nightly after 9 p.m.

From Cropredy/Braunston - Oxford Canal (South)
Turn right at Napton Junction heading for Braunston. Turn right at Braunston turn on to the Grand Union, through the Braunston flight, Braunston tunnel and head towards Norton Junction.  Stay on the Grand Union for 100 yards after the junction and we are on the right hand side at Buckby Top Lock.  Journey time from Braunston about 3 hours.

From Coventry/Braunston - Oxford Canal (North)
Head for Braunston turning left at Braunston Turn on to the Grand Union, through the Braunston flight, Braunston tunnel and head towards Norton Junction.  Stay on the Grand Union for 100 yards after the junction and we are on the right hand side at Buckby Top Lock.  Journey time from Braunston about 3 hours.

From Birmingham/Braunston - Grand Union Canal
Turn left at Napton Junction heading towards Braunston.  Turn right at Braunston Turn, through the Braunston flight, Braunston tunnel and head towards Norton Junction.  Stay on the Grand Union for 100 yards after the junction and we are on the right hand side at Buckby Top Lock.  Journey time from Braunston about 3 hours.

From Northampton
Leave Northampton on the A45 and continue West for 6.2 miles.  At the junction with the A5, turn right on to the A5 heading North for 3.5 miles.  You will see the New Inn on your left hand side just before the bridge over the Grand Union Canal.  Total distance 12 miles.

From Daventry
Leave Daventry on the the B4036 and turn left on to the A5 to find the New Inn 1/4 mile towards Kilsby.  Total distance 3.6 miles.

From Towcester
Depart Towcester on the A5 (North West) for 11.3 miles.  You will see the New Inn on your left hand side just before the bridge over the Grand Union Canal.  Total distance 11.3 miles.

From Coventry
Bear left (South) onto the A4144 for 2 miles.  Bear left (East) onto the A45 for 16.8 miles.  Bear left (East) onto local roads for 3.6 miles.  At the junction with the A5 turn left for 1/4 mile and you will see the New Inn on your left hand side just before the bridge over the Grand Union Canal.  Total distance 22.9 miles.

From Birmingham
Leave the city on the A38 (A38M) heading North.  At the A38M junction with the M6, bear right (East) onto the M6 for 31.9 miles.  At the end of the M6, bear right onto the M1 heading south for 3.7 miles.  At Junction 18 (Crick), turn right (West) onto the A428 towards Rugby for 1 mile.  Turn left (South) on to the A5 for 6.2 miles.  Total distance 45.6 miles.

From Birmingham Airport
On leaving the Airport, turn left (East) onto the A45 towards Coventry for 1.6 miles. At Bickerhill, turn left (North) onto the M42 for 2.1 miles.  At the intersection with the M6, bear right (East) onto the M6 for 23.7 miles towards Coventry.  At the end of the M6, bear right onto the M1 heading south for 3.7 miles.  At Junction 18 (Crick), turn right (West) onto the A428 towards Rugby for 1 mile.  Turn left (South) on to the A5 for 6.2 miles.  Total distance 39 miles.

From London
Leave London heading North for the M1.  At Junction 1 head North West on the M1 towards Luton for 62.4 miles.  At junction 16 (Harpole) bear west onto the A45 for 2.7 miles.  Turn right onto the A5 for 3.5 miles.  You will see the New Inn on your left hand side just before the bridge over the Grand Union Canal.  Total distance 76.8 miles.

From the West Country
Head North on the M5 until junction 4a M5 - M42 and bear right (East) onto the M42 for 21.6 miles towards Birmingham.  At junction 7 M42 - M6 bear right (East) onto M6 for 23.7 miles towards Coventry.  At the end of the M6, bear right onto the M1 heading south for 3.7 miles.  At Junction 18 (Crick), turn right (West) onto the A428 towards Rugby for 1 mile.  Turn left (South) on to the A5 for 6.2 miles.  Total distance 121 miles from the M4/M5 junction at Almondsbury, Bristol.
